President's Welcome

On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to welcome you to Southeast’s Panhellenic website. You will find many assets throughout the site including Executive Board contact information, recruitment information, our event calendar and much more. Feel free to explore the website and do not hesitate to contact us with questions, comments or concerns. We would love to help!

Southeast Greeks have a lot to be proud of. We are a community of outstanding philanthropy, service and scholarship. As a group, we make annual donations to the American Red Cross, the Special Olympics, and many more. Individually, each sorority is dedicated to their own philanthropic endeavors including  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Autism Speaks, Girl Scouts of America, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Robbie Page Memorial, and The Women’s Safe House of Cape Girardeau. Academic excellence is also a cornerstone of our Greek community and an integral part of membership.

As the Panhellenic Council, we strive every year to improve sorority life, endeavoring to make women better women. In keeping with Southeast Missouri State University’s longstanding tradition of excellence, we hold ourselves to the highest of standards. Our vision for the Greek experience at Southeast is to provide significant opportunities for students to participate in the community, cultivate character, and develop academic, social, and personal skills.

On a personal note, I would like to applaud your interest in Greek Life at Southeast Missouri State University. College is a time of holistic learning. As a member of a Greek organization, you can expect to gain just that as a result of the lasting friendships you will make, the opportunity to engage civically and through service, the expectation for academic excellence, and all of the fun you will have. We take pride in our Greek community at Southeast Missouri State and could not attain our goals every year without the help and quality of each member. I urge you to consider Greek Life at Southeast—it's more than letters, it’s for life.

      In Panhellenic Spirit,

               Amy Kreher
               Panhellenic Executive Board President
